The Blond Boy
I had fun creating this collage -- It's of my brother. In order to create it I had him stand profile to a wall and took a picture, next I opened the image in PS and create a silhouette out of it. After that I opened some of the family photo's I took earlier this year and took clipped sections of his skin to create the face and neck, added in his favorite striped shirt in choppy pieces, and finally for some artistic flare I used a picture of a sunflower and took the petals to make his hair.
This is your typical glue and magazine collage of a tree, it's a collage of the same tree I did for my weekly drawing. I've grown up with this tree -- I love it.

I think the collage of your brother looks neat and well put together, but I think the tree could use more detail in it.(:
ReplyDeleteI really like how you said that you used pictures of him for his face and neck. It makes it look more realistic. I also really liked the shirt.
ReplyDeleteI really like the collage of your brother. I like how you used a picture of a sunflower for his hair it gives it a cool texture.
ReplyDeleteI really like your collage of the tree. It's simple and isn't confusing. Because the sky is only one color it doesn't distract from the tree. I think the tree could use a few more details, but it doesn't really need it.
ReplyDeleteThis is really amazing! The part of this picture that I like best is the hair. It's really impressive how you used sunflowers! With the tree collage-I would've liked to maybe see magazine paper used instead of construction paper. I think it would've added some extra detail. Overall, really nice job!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of your brother is AMAZING! I love it! His hair is my favorite part. It all goes together really well and it looks thought through! Fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteI really love the first one. The texture is awesome and you payed lots of attention to detail. Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that I you could make a collage of a person that everyone could tell it was a person. It's really very organized and the contrasting colors help bring out each other.
ReplyDeleteI really like the color of the blonde boys hair it is super cool and how you did his face. The tree looks nice like the leaves
ReplyDeleteI really liked that the collage of your brother shows movement, at least to me, it's kind of like the is moving and at the same time still.
